Burger King oh my I am so glad that you are a pianist and not a chef, why Arizona?? Been to Phoenix a few times to visit family, but would rather be in Penang. The food alone calls me back plus the weather of course, and there’s a cute piano player at the E & O lol
Yes a smile would be nice. Love R & B
I love to sing. Maybe you can play my songs when I am back to KL or Penang next year.
I have not taken lessons from The Good Pianist, however, having hosted Philip twice during visits to The Midwest (U.S.A.), my family and I can attest to his beautiful musicality. Every day we were treated to a few hours of magic coming from our neglected family piano. Even the instrument seemed happy to have the attention of such a wonderful musician. Sometimes calming, sometimes jazzy, sometimes just plain fun, The Good Pianist (Philip Yeoh) filled our home with joy, musical joy.
(and his photographs are inspirational as well!)
Thanks very much, Heather…oh, I do remember those good and fun times. I enjoyed playing your Clavinova and hope you still have it with you? I’m on my third one now, LOL.
Of course I still have it! And have inherited my childhood acoustic Acrosonic, as well. Your playing inspires me to sit down again and play; and for that I am forever grateful.
