Better late than never

Wine 012

Regina (a piano student of mine) is what I might call a true classic. Three weeks ago she told me she’d bought a housewarming gift for me—and promptly forgot to bring it along with her to the lesson. This happened not once, not twice, but three times in a row, LOL. She finally managed to bring it to me today; needless to say I forgave her when I saw what it was—a bottle of Michel Torino Bonarda red wine from Argentina. It’s funny because I thought of celebrating with a bottle of red wine when I moved to my new place about a month ago…however, I never got around to it. Thank you, Regina—all is forgiven—but you’ll still have to complete your theory homework, ha ha.

The above picture was taken with the Canon 580EX II and 320EX Speedlites, the former acting as the master and the latter as the slave. I experimented with different angles and I like this shot. The 320EX was aimed at the background to get rid of shadows, while the 580EX II provided the frontal lighting. The lens used was my ever faithful Canon 18-135mm Zoom.
