Yeng Keng Café, round 2

Today a friend and I decided to head to Yeng Keng café to try their renowned chicken pie. This is done in the traditional Hainanese style, not the creamy type of chicken pie found elsewhere. We had to pre-order this at least four hours in advance. We knew we were in for a treat when the waiter set this oval-shaped temptation on our table. Just look at that gorgeous pastry!

And this is one of my portions. Suffice to say, it was delicious.

We finished the entire pie, as the picture below proves.

For dessert I opted for their delightful banana split. It’s a steal at only RM12 ($4 USD)

The lunch was so good that we plan to do a repeat very soon.
