It’s a Friday evening, so I head off for work at the E & O Hotel. Before I start playing at the lobby I bump into my General Manager, Signor Marco Battistotti. Nothing unusual about that; however, he asks me to follow him, so I do. At the front desk he whips out a badge with the new hotel logo and says that since I play piano there I should have it pinned on my jacket lapel. He quickly does it, and I’m—speechless. To other people it might be a small thing and no big deal. But what touched me was that my boss took the time and trouble to do this “little” thing for me. Acts of kindness, no matter how small, have a huge effect on the receiver.
Molto grazie, Signor Battistotti. Sono umiliato (hope my Italian’s good)
The above picture was taken with my Canon 55-250mm IS zoom lens and my Speedlite 580EX II in bounce mode. I am so impressed with the quality of this “budget” lens.Tags: Canon 55-250mm IS zoom lens, Canon 580EX II Speedlite, E & O Hotel
