Wat about having a trial lesson with her, does it give you a better idea on when to start her piano lesson?

She expresses interest in her keyboard lessons, but someone told me, if I start her too early, the burnout rate is high cuz young kids do not understand the concept of practicing. I just hope that lessons nurture her love for piano in long term. What do you think Philip?

Yes, I am in Penang. We stay in Bayswater. When do you think she should start the lesson? She’s officially turning 5 in another 3 weeks time.

Thanks for your reply! My daughter is 5 this year and I have planned to let her start piano lesson at age of 6, do you have a slot for her Mr Yeoh? ^ ^

Hi Grace, the current trend seems to be the younger the better. I disagree. I’d rather wait for a child to turn 5 or 6 before starting piano lessons.
