My 2nd because the 1st wasn't good enough (you get what you pay for) but the convenience is unmatched. I rarely touch the desktop at home anymore. But as you said, Lisa, it's nice to have desktops as backups in the house. And the battery problem with laptops is an issue that the manufacturers need to address. I rarely use it, but it is there if I need it and my backup if things should ever go "south". Mind you, as you know, I'm a Mac geek and my desktop is an iMac. That has laptop components inside it. My laptop is just as powerful as my desktop. The only thing I dislike is that batteries become awful over time periods, whether you use them or not. You just cannot get over that. I'm hoping the battery lasts long though and re-calibrate it often. ..and I’m one of those people :-)
